Working with VALEXANDRE, means we will be working closely together. I believe in clear and empathetic communication, so here is a bit of info about me...
My name is Vincent Vaseur, founder of VALEXANDRE.
Born in the Netherlands to parents from Indonesia and Suriname, I moved to Berlin in 2022 because my (then) girlfriend and I decided to raise our newborn son here.
My work will always include three factors:
family
food and
fashion

Family, to write and produce stories about complex family dynamics, from personal experiences and researched situations, especially in predominantly non-white and non-traditional spaces.
Food, because I was raised in the kitchen. My mother explained recipes while she was cooking, and I just sat there and listened. Now, I run Surindo by VALEXANDRE - a dedicated community-based project focused on delivering Surinamese and Indonesian meals for working parents of young children, and everyone with a desire for a new taste in Berlin.
And Fashion, because I never wanted to look like everyone else or follow trends - I guess, it was just inevitable. My productions will always involve a curated direction.
Personal interests include,
watching re-runs from older TV shows and an obsession with combat sports. I was a professional fighter for over 16 years practicing boxing, mma, karate, and judo, and competing all over the world - from Tokyo to Capetown.

I have lived a colourful life
I brokered my personal long-term sponsorship deal with Adidas at 18 since I could not afford my sporting life, going to school and traveling.
I have spent the last decade consulting, producing and managing large-scale projects for the national, European and intercontinental companies, government platforms and cultural institutions.
